The cartilage used in Vitamin World’s Shark Cartilage is from sharks that are line-caught off of the coast of New Zealand. The meat is used as a food source, leaving the collagen available for use as a supplement. One of the major compounds of Shark Cartilage is chondroitin sulfate, which is used to to support healthy joint function.
