Carnivor Beef Protein Isolate Chocolate

This protein powder has somewhat of an acquired taste. The aftertaste is a bit savory and â_x0080__x009c_beefyâ_x0080__x009d_ but after a few weeks I find myself starting to prefer it to whey. It doesnâ_x0080__x0099_t mix quite as well as whey isolate but I use 50/50 water and almond milk and it it mixes well enough. The flavor is quite strong so I use closer to 10-12 oz per scoop.

Main gripe is that earlier versions of this protein had added Creatine Monohydrate and had 2.5g per scoop. The latest version does not seem to have any creatine added so keep that in mind if you want to supplement with creatine separately.

Overall itâ_x0080__x0099_s a good lactose free option, decent taste (different than whey) and pretty good value for the money.
